Passengers on the first sailing reported a breakfast menu that ranged from challah French toast with berries and syrup to a garden frittata, lobster omelet with Hackleback caviar, breakfast tacos, bagels with lox, avocado toast and more. All venues feature fresh, local ingredients while serving cuisine influenced by the destinations the yacht visits. The line just started sailing and we haven't been on board just yet so we can't tell you exactly what you'll love about this line. The Pool, which also features a pair of whirlpools, is the larger oasis, located on deck 5 aft beyond The Pool House restaurant. A smaller pool is situated on deck 8 by Mistral restaurant. Both are surrounded by comfortable loungers for soaking up the sun.

Outside is the adjacent Observation Terrace, a lovely outdoor space to spill out into from the lounge on warm evenings, while during the day this is a quiet hideaway deck with sun-beds and captain’s chairs where guests can enjoy elevated views. The main Evrima Room restaurant is on the same deck at the stern, though other dining venues are scattered across different decks, as are outdoor spaces with the sheltered Marina Terrace on Deck 3 where Evrima’s marina is housed. With the number of crew totalling 246, this puts the ratio of crew to guests at 1 to 1.2.
And according to Douglas Prothero, President and CEO of Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection, that's one of the yacht's strengths. "We deliberately designed Evrima to attract people who aren't cruisers but who enjoy traveling at a laid-back pace," Prothero said. The executive added that about 75% of their passengers are in fact new to cruise, and many are loyal to the Ritz-Carlton brand, which is why Evrima features such strong links to the brand's onshore properties. If the appearance of Evrima could be defined as superlative yacht or a miniature cruise ship (or both), the essence of the vessel is faithful to its Ritz-Carlton roots. The minute we set foot on the vessel it became clear that the ship feels like a luxury hotel on the water.
The swish interiors, decorated with a mix of modernist artworks carefully placed throughout and decorating the walls, exude a refined aura. A limited number of cribs and roll-away beds are available and must be reserved at the time of booking. All stateroom categories other than Terrace Suites (the smallest) have a convertible sleep sofa that can accommodate up to two children. Children age six months and older are welcome aboard Evrima (they must be at least one year old if the itinerary has three or more consecutive days at sea) and all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 21. The restaurant is on Deck 4, aft, and the menu will change with the seasons. For instance, all shore excursions require an additional fee, and the same goes for the use of certain onboard amenities like the Kid's Club. Dinner at S.E.A. -- Evrima's specialty restaurant -- costs $285 per person. By comparison, dinner on Silversea's La Dame costs $60 per person. Moreover, all specialty restaurants are included in the price on other luxury cruise lines like Regent, Seabourn, Oceania and Windstar. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection executive attributes this distinction to having a stronger loyalist passenger base and also by being part of Marriott.
But it's the spa treatments most people get excited about. Aboard the yacht, there are several massage options, such as the 60-or 90-minute signature "Evrima" massage (starting at $255), where light to moderate pressure is paired with aromatherapy essential oils. Also available are deep muscle massages (starting at $205) and piedras calientes therapy treatments, which use warmed stones (starting at $275). After a day in port, you might want the hour-long black masque Leg Renewal Treatment ($130) that alleviates tired legs by reducing inflammation and encouraging enhanced circulation. Something else that became apparent during our tour of Evrima is that the average passenger is slightly younger than what you'd normally see on other luxury cruise lines.

As our visit only allowed us to get a limited glimpse of the luxury yacht, we've taken to Cruise Critic's Community Boards and reader reviews to get a better idea of what it's like to sail aboard Evrima. Upon embarkation, your first taste of Evrima is the Living Room on Deck 4, which is not unlike a hotel lobby.
Cabins are distributed across decks 4 to 8, while the spa and fitness studio take up most of Deck 9. The main dining room -- called Evrima Room -- and the reception area are both on Deck 4, while the Observation Lounge is on Deck 10. While Ritz yachts won't have main dining rooms the way you're used to seeing them aboard mega-ships — huge cavernous venues that pack everyone in tight during meal service — The Evrima Room is the ship's main restaurant. Here, you can dine as a couple or join other travelers in an intimate and relaxed setting.
